The Citizens Accountability for Regional Transportation Committee (CART) provides oversight for the implementation of the 20-year RTA plan and reviews the RTA's annual report.

The Citizens Accountability for Regional Transportation Committee meets quarterly. Members of the CART Committee were selected by the RTA Board through an application process. Members serves four-, five- or six-year terms. The Committee includes representatives from each of the RTA's member jurisdictions.
